Children's Fest

Over the weekend was the annual Children's Fest on post.  Last year when we went Kayla was only tall enough to ride the carousel and giant slide with mom or dad.  We still had a great time but this year we were really looking forward to taking her because we knew she would have a blast!  It's funny how much difference a year makes; last year it wasn't even on our radar that this year we would be taking TWO little ones to the Fest.  Oh how things change.  Some of the rides Kayla was able to go on all by herself!  She was just to cute driving her little tractor and piloting her....

Kayla also went on her first little rollercoaster!  It was so funny to watch from the sidelines because one moment she would be smiling and laughing and the next she'd have a terrified look on her face.  Right away she said she didn't want to ride it again, but after about 45 minutes she was asking to go again.  We were on our way out by then so we'll just have to wait and see at another fair or park if she's still up for the ride.

while Gavin and I hung back and watched all the fun.
