We love Sundays. It starts off with the mad dash to get everyone up and ready for church which starts at 9:45am. Kayla goes to the nursery where she gets yummy snacks that she never gets at home. (Last Sunday she was saying COOOOK-IEEEE all day.) Then we're home in time for lunch and nap (for Kayla). Afterwards we enjoy some quality time together. During the weekdays Kayla and I get our chores done so when the weekend hits, and Garrett's home, we can just relax, not worry about housework, and just be. Usually this means by Sunday evening the house is in chaos, but we wouldn't have it any other way!
A weekly weekend tradition that has started around here is Garrett's bread making (from scratch in the oven, not a bread maker.) It's super yummy. Today Kayla got a hold of an end piece and wasn't giving it up for anything, except maybe her mama.
