Yesterday Garrett was off work so we took a family field trip to this awesome place called Jumping Time. They rent out those cool jumpy things of all sizes for parties, but during the week they open up their warehouse for open play.
They had this huge inflatable slide that Kayla LOVED!! Up and down, up and down, up and down, that's how we spent most of our morning.
And then it was time for the little one to fly solo. She did great!
This three day weekend is a little bitter-sweet. It's our last weekend together before things get a little crazy for the next two months. On Wednesday Garrett leaves for the field for roughly two weeks, then back for a couple days, and then off to Louisiana for almost a month! Kayla and I are trying to pack our calendar with exciting things like play dates, park days, her first theatrical production! a visit to friends in SC, and a visit from my mom and grandma Loraine. So never fear, there will still be plenty of things to blog about, although it might be a bit sporadic given the circumstances :)

okay those jump things are fun. i went to one in utah with my nieces on one of their birthdays. . .and i had a good time.
glad all seem to be having fun.
and glad that you have the time that garrett is gone packed full. . . wish there was a visit from me thrown in there. . . (im workin on it still) love ya.
