Grandma's Come to Town

OK, before we get to the grandmas visiting I have to first to new pics I love.  First, our newest neighbor baby Anna has arrived.  Molly delivered this sweet girl about 5 days after my previous post and Kayla just adores her; as do we all!

And then this one is just a sweet moment I caught of Gavin watching the neighborhood boys mowing our lawn :)

All right, on to the Grandmas.  My mom and Grandma Loraine were out visiting for about a week.  This is the second trip out here for my grandma, she came back in 2009 and you can refresh your memory here and here if you'd like.  So for this visit it was pretty low key.  Just a lot of QT hanging out days with a few outings sprinkled in.  Our first was to the mall for a little shopping, merry-go-round rides, and lunch.

 

Another outing was haircuts for the kiddos and a visit to West Produce.  This was Gavin's FIRST HAIRCUT *sniff sniff tear*  I promised my mom we could go when she was out {and really it was time} but it was just so hard for me!  He's my baby and now he looks like such a big boy!  Having one of each now, it's definitely different with boys and girls.  When Kayla had her first cut it was just to trim up the ends a little bit to take care of the wispy fly-aways; but other then that, she's a girl and I was letting her hair grow out, you know.  Now with Gavin, he had enough hair to actually cut a boy haircut, so he looks completely different :( !  He did so great in the chair.  He just sat still eating his snack {which is why he has a pouting look in most of the pics}.

Grandma Loraine's birthday was a couple of days before they got here so we had a little celebration while she was out.

 

And of course we had to end the visit with some timer self-portraits :)
