Well.....we've had an exciting past few days. Sunday morning my mom and her boyfriend, Bill, arrived for a week long visit. Kayla was looking out the window when they pulled up and when she saw her grammy she got sooooo excited. There was no doubt that she remembered her loving grammy Karen and she has been glued to her side ever since.
Today we woke up to a winter wonderland. It's about 2pm right now and it has been consistently snowing all day. It is absolutely beautiful, we're surrounded by trees and the snow landing on the branches has an amazing allure. It's also quite comical to watch the States reaction to all the fluff. It's the most snow fall they've seen in 5 years (3-6in.) and they have now declared a state of emergency. hehe. After living in Denver and surviving a true blue blizzard, this is a walk in the park. Here we didn't think we would have to break out our snow shovel but now it has been officially used on our NC driveway.
