Merry Christmas! We pray everyone is having a wonderful day and enjoying the good company of friends and family! Ours has been very exciting. Santa was very busy last night wrapping presents for Kayla and assembling her special gifts. She woke up to find this:
Grammy Karen got her this adorable play tent that she just loves. Right now it's up in her play room piled high with cozy pillows.
There was a slight break in the rain so we put on our shoes and headed out to test drive the new trike. This trike is so much fun. It has the removable parental steer bar we can use until she gets the hang of peddling. And with the adjustable seat, she'll be able to enjoy the ride for a couple more years. She loves it!
And then of course time for the big lunch. We ordered a mini ham from the wonderful honeybaked people, yum, and made garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed asparagus and portobello mushrooms with parmesan cheese, and rolls. yum yum.
Later today we'll be having pie with our neighbors so hopefully I'll have more photos to post then. As always, we miss our friends and family around the country and are thinking of you all today.
