About an hours drive from my home, in the outskirts of San Diego County, is a little candy shop called the Candy Cottage. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere and has been run by the same family using the same yummy recipes since 1921. The sad thing is that they're closing their doors after all these years July 31st. So my mom and I decided to make the drive out there. We packed Kayla up and hoped she would nap on the way; we timed it to be on the road during her usual morning nap. Well she was being quite the stinker and didn't sleep much and it pretty much threw the rest of the day off. Finally on the way back she passed out for good. She basically confirmed to me that she definitely is not ready to go to just one nap a day.
