Remember a week ago, on my mom's last full day out here, we were in search for cherry blossoms?! Well this week the trees were finally in full bloom!
We made the field trip with our good friends, the Vensko's. It was a school day so Kayla was not with us, and that was a bit of a bummer :( .
Per usual, we packed a picnic lunch... and really, could there not be a more lovely site for a picnic?!

Gavin was being a bit of a stinker....3 is a wonderful age..... and was ALL about taking photos with anyone but me!

Awesomeness! Seriously, to be under a thick canopy of all those blossoms was truly a unique experience. Until now, I've only ever been to DC in the Fall and Winter times....to see it in all it's Spring glory is a spectacular sight! And to share it with sweet friends was icing on the cake!!
