Last weekend Garrett's parents came out for a little visit. We had a slight dip in the temperature and it was just splendid! While they were here we visited Bisbee and Tombstone, but sadly I didn't get any photos of those day trips :( . We also spent the morning at a park and Oktoberfest here in town. Our Post is situated right up against a small mountain range, and tucked back in there is a little camp ground with some old-school playground equipment. We love this spot and since the weather was so nice we took Grandma and Grandpa up there.
Gavin got a little nervous all the way up there and needed a little support from daddy :)
Their dog, Emma, also made the trip out here! She, of course, loved this outdoor space too!
Leaving the camp ground, these were our views of Post, the town, and surrounding area.
Oktoberfest! Complete with rides :)
The first go around they were a little surprised!
second time around....and they were loving it!
Gavin talked Grandpa Ron into joining him ;)
And there's always some painting time when Grandma Linda is around!
And this is why. She painted these for Gavin's room over a year ago and finally Garrett was able to build some beautiful frames for them.
It was beautiful, relaxing visit. Thanks for making the road trip out here Grandma and Grandpa!
