and this is the best I've got; 5 random photos! September completely flew by and now here we are 9 days into October. Last month was pretty low-key for us. August was such a big month, Garrett coming home and then our trip out to San Diego; so when September came along we really just wanted to relax, stay close to home, and enjoy some quality family time. We finished up Kayla's first month of preschool. There were some great days, and not so great days. The not so great days involved a few behavior problems (like hitting a girl in the head with a toy train and general not listening or following direction moments). Aside from that, Kayla LOVES going to school 9 hours a week. When I kiss her goodnight and tell her tomorrow is a school day she lights up and lets out a jubilant YAY! or YIPEE!! And when I walk her to her little classroom in the mornings she usually throws me a half-hearted backwards wave as she's running to her teacher......who she then greats with a big hug :) It's a wonderful school and we're all really loving it.
One of Kayla's favorite books right now is Green Eggs and Ham. So since Garrett is in charge of the weekend breakfast he decided we should have just that. Kayla thought it was pretty awesome.
On another occasion, we were all downstairs and I told Kayla to go up and change into some jammies. After being gone way longer than she should have been she finally came back to model the jammies she had dug up. She managed to squeeze herself into a pair of last years footed jams! Silly girl :)
Gavin thought he'd be Superbaby and leap over two cars in a single bound. He didn't quite make it.
My sweet boy. He's got the cutest most sweetest smile he does where he smiles as big as he can with his mouth closed. Love it. Love him. He's going to be 9 months old tomorrow! This weeks goal is to take his 9 month pictures and post a proper update. I wanted to get around to that this last week, but he and Kayla have both come down with the sniffles, so no such luck.
