January Photos

OK.....so if you read my previous post you all ready know what a crazy month January and the first half of February was for us, therefore I have not been able to keep up on my posting :( I have soooooo many pics accumulating on my computer and I just need to get them out there! (Since the two posts I did do in January was pretty much all about Gavin; the remaining photos are mostly of Kayla)

I'll start at the beginning: My mom had been here about three days and we were getting anxious for the arrival of Gavin. It was too cold to do any walking outside so we decided to go to our one and only indoor mall and walk a few laps. Kayla was SUPER excited about the merry-go-round and I think we actually spent more time with it rather than walking the mall.

It still worked though because it was that very night that labor started :) Before Garrett left for Haiti, he and Kayla explored the "forest" in our neighborhood and looked for nice monsters like Mike and Scully.

Later that same day Kayla showed my mom the "forest" and my mom got some great photos of my little ham.

She LOVES her little brother.

Smokey was a little stressed out when we first brought Gavin home. He bolted every time Gavin started crying and was shedding a lot more then usual for a January. But after some quality time together, they're best buds now.

We took the kiddos to the book store (which is probably where they picked up the cooties that made them sick :( and I bought Kayla Where The Wild Things Are which she LOVES. We read it just about every night before bedtime.

Kayla was really interested in helping with Gavin's bottle, so we made up one of her own with flour in it. Her friend of choice to feed and diaper is Mickey.

The weekend the shiz hit the fan with the kids being sick there was an ice storm. It looks like snow but you can kind of tell on the front walk and driveway that it's ice. Thankfully I was able to get out of my driveway before the ice started really setting up to take Gavin to the ER.



Poor baby was soooooo sick :(

Hopefully I can get to February's photos before March sets in ;)
