Random Pics ~ Preschool Graduation

To kick off this post we'll start with the random pics :)

So lately Gavin has developed a way to let you know when he's just not that impressed with what you're doing; man if looks could kill!

One of the items on Garrett's pre-deployment honey do list was to install a new storm door on our front door.  Kayla still does not love loud noises.

We LOVE the new door!  It lets in so much natural light and the top window slides down to reveal a screen for great air flow.

Garrett's last woodworking project he finished was a mirror for the above hallway.  I think it turned out beautiful!

Last night was Kayla preschool graduation.  For hers and three other classes it was actually a 'moving up' graduation because she'll be going again next school year.  What a great time we had!  The graduation program was nonstop adorableness, and I think Kayla really enjoyed being up there on stage in front of everyone.  You can refreash your memory of her first day of school HERE.

Her teacher, Mrs. Nicole.

Sitting with her class.
After all the diplomas were handed out the kids left the church to change out their cap and gowns for the entertainment portion of the program.  It was a western theme :)

During much of the program Gavin was in the back of the room with daddy taking it all in.  He had a great time too!  In this first video Kayla spots Gavin in the back and you can hear her say 'Hi Gavin!'

This school has been such a blessing!  Kayla has grown so much and she absolutely LOVED her teacher and classmates.  And it just so happens that most of her class will also have deploying fathers this summer so I'm sure will be having some playdates with them :).
